Sanitation Special District Taxing Information

Obtaining publicly available information regarding the sanitation districts is extremely difficult when compared to information that is provided by other public service providers. Only one of the six sanitation districts in the Town of Hempstead has a website. The only information on the Town of Hempstead's website is a phone number for each district and the communities they serve. We live in an age where it is easier and cheaper to communicate with people than ever before, there is significant room for improvement to make this basic information more transparent to taxpayers.

As you can see below, RESD has attempted to put this basic information into one location. However, many gaps exist. If you can help us fill in some of the blanks, please email us at information@resd.info. Our goal is to have all of this information completed as soon as possible.

District 1
